Great pancakes. Mediocre egg dishes because they cook eggs on the grill rather than a skillet and always burn them. Great service. Avoid dinner. I think they changed chefs. Fish used to be really good but last two times was burnt and tasteless. Roast beef and chopped steak are pretty good. Gyros are great. Wraps are excellent. Better than average diner food but a big step down from a few months ago. There is little competition for breakfast but lots of superior spots for dinner in their price range.

Do people still eat here I wonder. I guess so because I just saw the Former mayor and a current City of Coral Springs councilman standing out front this Labor Day.

I will not be back. I asked about a item on the menu and the waitress replies with "I didn't even know we had that. No one has ever ordered it". I took her "advice" and got something else. It turned out to be eatable but something I wished I never ate. On top of that the waitress complained to us how much she hated her job and how she is planning to quit. Turns out she had only worked there 3 weeks.

Great food & service. Reasonable prices too! Good for Sunday brunch. There was steady crowd around 10:00am on Sunday. Our server was Michelle from North Carolina. She offered recommendations since this was our first time. Plan to make this a regular spot since there was not an over bearing crowd. We were seated upon arrival. Booths seem to go first but tables are available. Happy eating:-) Thanks Michelle, you were pleasant.

Nice ambiance - and that's about it. The food is almost without taste. Maybe they should try just a few spices, a little salt and pepper or something? Really a huge disappointment. We tried the place twice within a couple of weeks with the same result: No taste experience, boring and without any flavors. On the bright side. If you are around 70 and go there you'll probably be among the youngest guests ;-)

I'm a huge fan of diners and diner food, and I've tried a few places in and around Coral Springs, but this is authentic. Good service, solid food, and the only frustration I've ever had here is a good problem for the owners - long waits at busy times. If you're used to Jersey and New York diners, I haven't found one as good down here. Breakfasts, breakfast sandwiches, soups and omelettes - solid breakfast fare, at any time of the day.

Great place for breakfast and lunch or anytime you want a great burger and fries, or any kind of diner deli food. Thumbs up to the staff for great service.

The place was affordable, clean, and looks nice. The staff was very friendly and the food was very good. We had breakfast and the hash browns were really good. Best place for breakfast in Coral Springs.

May not look like much, but the food is always fresh and we've never had a bad meal. The waitresses have always been friendly and attentive. Great local place.

Whatever you do... don't eat the fried clam strips. I got the appetizer sampler and it had them in it and I bit down on one and it had shell pieces in it and it literally cracked my tooth. Obviously I didn't eat any more and couldn't eat the rest of the food because of the pain. Before I ate that I had the chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, and onion rings. Chicken was over cooked, there was barely any cheese in the sticks, and the onion rings were bland. My friend had the mushroom burger and it was a complete mess and she said it didn't taste good... However, I gotta say, the service was wonderful. The waitress was above and beyond just being polite. She was very sweet and extremely helpful. I definitely wouldn't eat there again though, unfortunately.

Have been coming here for classic comfort food for several years now. Breakfast portions are huge and delicious. Grilled cheese and steak fries are my go to for lunch. Dinner specials are a great deal with the soup or salad, entree and dessert included. Service is usually pretty good and the prices are great for the amount of food they give you.

Dinner was a tragedy. My wife and I went back... The restaurant was a mess, the staff were clearly exhausted (got both of our orders wrong), and the food was just this side of tolerable. Stick to breakfast. And don't be fooled by the "Greek" menu; you'll get more authentic Greek food from the frozen food section in the supermarket.

We were looking for a new breakfast place, since the last one went south...we won't name names. We found this one by searching Yelp! I have made this my new breakfast place. I'm here several times a week. The staff are all very friendly. They smile, they make conversation...they're not afraid to yell to you across the dining room, either. It feel like I'm visiting my family. The food comes quickly. I always order the same thing - two eggs, over-medium, crispy hash browns, ham, and rye toast with butter. It's always exactly the same. The eggs are perfect, the ham is nicely caramelized, the hash browns are a tad oily, but they taste great. The rye toast is flavorful, but thin slices. It's always the right amount of food. I had originally thought to give only 3-stars, but I've had time to get to know the place...it really is better than 3. It's a diner, and serves exactly the purpose it is intended to serve, so it got 4. I plan to continue my ritual of coming several times a week.

When I first went in, place looked a little grungy. Definitely needs to be cleaned and spruced up. There was an ant as I sat at the table...on my silverware. Yuck! That turned me off..food was decent...waitress was nice. But the whole dirty, ant thing turned me off.

Coral Springs Diner is a great place to go when you're looking for a variety of different types of good. They have great breakfasts and sandwiches. The dinners are very good for the most part with the exception of a few. Most of the servers are great.. And there are a couple who are not so good.. When you find one you like you should definitely ask for them when you go in. They spoil you once they get to know you.

Coral springs diner is a landmark institution in coral springs. It's been around forever and a day. Even when you pull up to this location your transported back to like 1980. My husband grew up in coral springs and has been eating at this diner since he was a little boy. Me on the other hand have only been here a few times but I always have a good experience here. I've ordered various things from their menu such as the turkey club which was fantastic. I've had their omelettes which are great too. I never had a meal here I didn't like. The service was always good and friendly. Take some time to stop by here. You'll be staring at history in the face. Coral springs diner is never going anywhere.

The food at Coral Springs Diner is good. Its tasty but at the same time it is very ordinary, very safe and very filling. Portions are good and the price is reasonable. The decor also reminds you of days gone by. If you're looking for a good meal, this place is okay, not great, but worth the price. They won't win any culinary trophy, but most people will be satisfied most of the time.

Terrible service. Went in and sat at counter. Waited 10 minutes before a waitress asked if I wanted a drink. I asked for iced tea. Waited another 5-6 minutes before she gave it to me. She asked if I wanted anything else. I said "Ummm...a menu?" She gave me one and I said don't bother. Got up and left. It was ridiculous. I wouldn't have had a problem if it was busy. 4 or 5 waitresses kept walking past me and no one acknowledged me. It was 12 PM. It's comical not to give me a menu at lunchtime in a diner.

Hate this place. Owner is uninvolved not friendly. Wait staff get orders wrong on a daily basis. Food is marginal. Prices ok. Why do i go? Stictly for convenience sake. There is nothing awesome here.

Good Breakfast! It's been awhile since I have had lunch and I have never had dinner so I won't comment on either. Now Breakfast is a different story. I went with my #1 Yelp fan, my daughter, for breakfast and we both loved our food. She had the Belgium Waffles with scrambled eggs and I had grits with a bagel with sausage and cheese, see pic. Hey I know it's not eggs Benedict or something fancy, but the food was solid. The grits were nice and thick not watery like some places. The bagel sandwich was perfect. The sausage was the thin patties coupled with some American cheese with a nice toasted/chewy bagel. My daughter said the eggs and waffle were perfect. Service was efficient and the restaurant is pretty damn clean. Like real diners, they have the little jukeboxes at some of the booths that my daughter was dying to play. Just a cool vibe. Lastly, I want to come back for lunch or dinner and see if the food is as bland as stated by some other reviews. We will see. Beyond that I told my daughter we are going to stop by more often and my #1 Yelp Fan happily agreed. Remember to tell them Dan sent you and Stay Hungry!

I have been there several times. The food is good and the service is usually good. It is not a gourmet place by any means, but for a quick bit to eat it is not bad. This is a favorite spot for the senior community.

My family has been eating at this diner for about five years. Food is good and portions are large. They used to have fresh baked challah, which was sooo yummy but this year changed to rolls - which are just okay. But we still like going here.

the new manager danny is very creepy and very touchy feely. he is old enough to be my father and yet comes up to me and rubs me inappropriately and blows creepy kisses at me. I am never going back there again. This really sucks because I go there twice a week. he can't seem to take a hint that I do not want him to touch me. disgusting.

Came on a Sunday morning for my hangover cure. I expected a wait and there certainly was one. The waitress was scatter brained and forgot to bring half our order ( no soup, no 2nd drink for my wife, no biscuit gravy). The eggs Benedict had entirely too much hollandaise the pooled around the hashbrowns. The fish and chips were a far cry from what it should look like... Seriously, who passes off a breaded fish filet as fish and chips? We left disappointed and craving proper diner food

Food is so-so but they are inexpensive, usually quick (but have been getting slower and slower until today's last straw), and have pretty good portions. I've been eating there 2-3 times a week for the last four years but I will NEVER EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GO BACK. Today they gave us menus and drinks then for the next 25-30 minutes ignored my table. I asked 4 people a total of 6 times to take my order before we just got up and walked out. I left money on the table for the drinks and will never come back. On the way out the door instead of apologizing, the waitress behind the counter said, Oh I didn't know you were here do you want to order now. We were totally ignored for half an hour and bye the way there were more servers than customers when we were there so they can't say they were too busy, they when we finally got up to walk out they just "shrugged their shoulders". The could not have cared less. You can't complain about the service because there is none!! Needless to say my business partner and myself shall never return and we will relate this story to everyone in our office building (about 5 blocks from the diner) and to all of our employees, friends and coworkers

I've had both breakfast and dinner in the past month. The breakfast was delicious and I will definitely go back for breakfast again. Dinner was another story. It was neither good nor bad but was not good enough to repeat. The diner will be my place to go for a breakfast meal.

Nice place for a family meal. The menu has a little of everything on it. Good food and big portions. I ordered pancakes once expecting a normal size pancake. They were as big as a dinner plate. Decor is out-dated. I go there every few weeks.

Was going to The Coral Springs Center for the Performing Arts with another couple and since Toojays had a long line, my friend suggested this diner. Diner food is just ok but we agreed to go here with them. Well, were we pleasantly surprised! My husband had the fried flounder and loved it. He also enjoyed his "very fresh" salad and suger free apple pie. I am pretty picky about food quality, but LOVED the salmon. I had a side of vegetable medley with that. The challah roll was great. The matzoh ball soup delicious and the sugar free ameretto dessert was very good. Very good food for a very good price!
